Why do I need a business checking account?

As a small business owner, it can be hard to keep track of your business when your personal and business finances are combined in one account. It can also make paying taxes even more confusing. With a business checking account like Found, you can keep your business and personal finances separate and organized, so you know exactly what’s going on with your business.

Will my Found account have a routing number?

Yes, your Found account comes with its own account and routing numbers.

Where can I use my Found debit card?

Use your Mastercard® Business debit card² anywhere Mastercard® is accepted, including for online and international transactions.

Can I add my business name to my Found debit card?

Yes, you can add your business name to the front of your Found business debit card.

Which apps can I connect to my Found account?

Found connects seamlessly with all your favorite banking and business tools. Quickly integrate with QuickBooks, Stripe, Cash App, PayPal, Square, Lyft, Uber, Venmo, Etsy, eBay, and more.

Can I link my Found card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Absolutely! Found is compatible with both Apple Pay and Google Pay, and you can link your virtual card before your Found card arrives in the mail.

How can I fund to my Found account?

There are many ways to fund your account including:

  • Setting up direct deposit
  • Domestic wire transfers
  • Transfers from payment processors like Square & Stripe
  • Transfers from payment apps like Venmo, Paypall, Cash App and more

Read more about deposit options here.

How does Found automatically categorize expenses?

When you make a purchase with your Found card, the app will automatically suggest a category for your expense based on the merchant. For example, restaurants and coffee shops will often be automatically categorized as Business Meals, and you can edit the category any time.

Can Found help me identify relevant tax deductions and write-offs?

Yes. Every time you use your Found card for a business purchase, the details will be automatically recorded in your account. Instead of searching through old statements or looking for receipts, all of your expenses—and potential tax deductions—will be in one place and easy to spot.

Can I use the Found app to actually pay taxes too?

If you 1) file a Schedule C and 2) have an active Found Plus⁴ subscription then yes, you can! A few weeks before payments are due, Found customers will see an option in their Found account to make a tax payment. If you choose to pay your taxes through Found, we will use funds in your taxes account to send the appropriate payment to the IRS on your behalf.
